Renowned Freedom Singer Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon's incredible 45-year journey as a composer, musician, songtalker, scholar, performer, historian, teacher, producer, director, author, public speaker and activist leads back to her native southwest Georgia for this special evening. Dr. Reagon will perform and speak of the song culture of the Civil Rights movement and the importance of cultural diversity in communities. The event will take place in the Columbus Museum's Patrick Theatre. A reception will follow until 9:00 p.m.
